WHAT TO WEAR

• Choose a color palette. Some ideas would be blues, neutrals, pastels, or earth tones. Have the family wearing three to four colors within that color palette. Everyone in the family can express their own style within the color palette. Add a pop of color.

• Don’t match exactly, but do coordinate. Layering something like a jacket, scarf, cardigan sweater, etc. can help tie in colors.

• Don’t wear stripes, even thin stripes can look pixelated. Stick with solids, muted prints. No words or logos.

• Texture such as denim, lace, corduroy, or knits all photograph well.

• Be who you are!! You want to be comfortable with what you are wearing so the photographs look natural.

• Fit your style to your location. Neutrals/light colors/ gray/cream/tan/blue look great on the beach. Tans/brown/burgundy/greens/rust would all look great in the woods or a field.
